The smartBC is a portable device which prints Business Cards wherever the user is. The main idea here is to give an advantage for the user to make a good first impression and be remembered.

With the smartBC the user has a whole new way of approaching and presenting himself to a potential new business partner. Instead of simply giving a business card from a bunch of pre-made cards in his pocket, the user can print one at the time he meets the potential business partner and give him a business card which is unique for this person.

The main goal with this new way of exchanging business cards is for the user to get the attention that he needs from this potential business partner.

Who is Arthur Ditlef

I am a 23 year old Brazilian Industrial Designer graduated at Istituto Europeo di Design in São Paulo, Brazil. Moved to Brisbane to study visual arts and add to my technical knowledge a more artistic view of design and enjoy Queensland's weather. I like all areas of design, but my passion lies in product and furniture design.
